All used up! Lush Lemony Flutter Cuticle Butter

I do love a good empties post.  Reductionista’s in particular are the best!  There is something so satisfying about using up a product and creating a little bit more space in one’s cupboard.  I’ve had a fab using-up month, including a bottle of shampoo, conditioner, shower gel, face wipes, cotton pads, serum, mascara and (nearly) Liz Earle Cleanse and Polish.  I’d love to do a round-up, but sadly my OCD husband insists on immediate recycling in our clutter-free home.

However, I thought that this deserved a special post.

See that?  It’s Lush’s Lemony Flutter Cuticle Butter.

And.  See that?!  It’s empty.

This stuff is the gift that keeps on giving.  Generous nightly use for eleven-and-a-half months has finally destroyed it.  Bedtimes won’t be the same without that slightly synthetic, but totally yummy, oily lemon scent wafting under my nose (I lie on my hand – I don’t snort the stuff!).

Will I buy it again?  Hell yes, it’s £6.50!  Indeed, as soon as my solar oil is gone, it’s coming back for good 🙂

What products have you conquered against the odds?

Love, SnailPolish x

Oh man, I could never use up a cuticle product. I just rub lotion or body butter around it while moisturizing the hand and leave it at that. Seeing this empty tin gives me great second-hand satisfaction!

Like I love empties posts and videos. I always feel good whenever I realize I have used up my skin, body care, hair care and personal care products. I don’t want to put anything to waste so I always make sure I use them to the last bit and drop, if you know what I mean. Btw, I’m used to just using the L’Occitane Shea butter hand creme for my hands and cuticles and I have never tried a cuticle product before. From the sound of it, you truly love this product. I’ll go check it out. Thanks!

Thank you for your comment (went into the Spam folder for some reason!). I use the L’Occitane hand cream too (have just about finished a full-size tube), and love it. My hands get really dry as I spend a lot of time outdoors walking to work or exercising. Plus, I’m not getting any younger…! I’d definitely recommend the Lush stuff. Works well with the shea butter hand cream 🙂
